In 2015 Beautiful Day Cafe was born from a dream to serve real, organic, delicious, nutrient dense food to the people of Wichita. We use no GMO’s, aluminum cookware, microwaves, hydrogenated oils, artificial colorings or flavorings.

 Today we remain committed to using organic locally sourced ingredients, some of which is grown in our very own garden. Our small but mighty cafe features full breakfast and lunch menus, fresh organic juices, smoothies, desserts, specialty coffee drinks and teas. We are also proud to provide an incredible selection for our vegan, vegetarian, and gluten free friends.  Say “Hi” to the cook, our kitchen is open to view.

Our menu features farm fresh eggs from Chicken Track Eggs LLC (Inman, KS), bread from Delano Bakery, and Little Red Hen Bakery (Wichita, KS), meats from Faye Farms (Udall, KS), meats from Phil’s Farm (Hutchinson, KS), meats from Turkey Foot Ranch (Winfield, KS), cheese from Jason Wiebe Dairy (Durham, KS), kombucha from Inspirit Kombucha Brewing Co (Wichita, KS), coffee from The Spice Merchant (Wichita, KS), and produce from GreenAcres (Wichita, KS). Supporting us means supporting a network of local families.

Beautiful Day also boasts gorgeous outdoor covered seating when weather permits. We invite everyone to take a tour of our ever-evolving garden!

It is more than a nod to the farm-to-table, slow meal and locavore movements – it is a community of neighbors committed to incorporating all of those values into their daily lives.  It is equal parts homespun tradition (using the freshest and closest ingredients) and common sense – all mixed up with some fine skills in the kitchen.
